![]() You can very accurately emulate Hammer Head's 'clip' behavior this way. If you want it to be a bit more 'clip' like, leave 1 pattern empty, and switch to that empty pattern to kill the sound. The first 16 midi notes (C-2 to D#-1) correspond to Drum Computer patterns 1-16. If it's not running, you'll still see the new pattern info changing, but obviously nothing will be output until play is engaged. On this note, Drum Computer needs to be running to hear the pattern switching. However when Drum Computer receives the correct midi note, it will simply switch the active pattern. The difference between HH and DC is that when Hammer Head receives the correct note, it will trigger the pattern. Then it will start and stop with Cubasis' transport. You'll need to hit the 'play' button in DC. Sorry for the dumb questions but after the initial excitement of DC I've barely touched it. So if I disable DCs play button then hit play my host (Cubasis 3) then play c-2 or c-1 on Cubasis keyboard (or draw the note on the piano roll) I should get a pattern to play? Which pattern? Playing around on DC right now but not getting any joy with this method. Really? I thought this was a Hammerhead only feature? Presets or patterns? Not sure about presets but patterns it’s the bottom scale of the keyboard whether that starts C-2 or C-1 depending.
